Jeometri secures GFSC licence for Guernsey captive PCCJeometri Insurance Managers (Guernsey) Limited (JIM) receives a licence from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) for Jeometri Insurance PCC Limited, a protected cell company offering clients a ring-fenced route into captive insurance in Guernsey. The PCC is licensed under The Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002, as amended, and is managed by JIM. Darren Wadley, managing director of JIM, says: “This licence is a natural extension of Jeometri’s insurance management capability. It gives our clients a straightforward, well-governed route into captive insurance through Guernsey at lower cost and with less complexity than a standalone entity.” Guernsey pioneered the protected cell company structure and remains a significant centre for captive insurance management and alternative risk transfer.
