The 100 Mile General Hospital’s Emergency Room will be closed almost 10 more times than it was all of last year.
Interior Health announced two more Emergency Department (ED) closures on Friday, August 7, and Sunday, August 9.
This brings the total number of closures in the District up to 36 times within eight months of 2026.
All other inpatient services at 100 Mile District General will continue.
The ED at 100 Mile District General was closed 27 times throughout all of 2025.
