Staff Sargent Brad McKinnon was appointed Detachment Commander and Officer in Charge.
City of Williams Lake Mayor Surinderpal Rathor said he felt great when he heard about the news.
Rathor noted that he has built a really good relationship with Mckinnon saying that he’s proven his leadership and is real community minded.
“Whenever any requests come from City Hall or Council’s Table, he takes on the task that is given him.”
