The Nelson Police Department is asking people who have had property stolen to contact them after officers recovered a large quantity of suspected stolen items during a search warrant earlier this summer. The warrant was executed in June and resulted in the seizure of generators, chainsaws, cordless power tools, yard equipment, mountain bikes and e-bikes. The department said Thursday some of the recovered property has not yet been linked to its lawful owners. Anyone who believes one of the seized items may belong to them is asked to contact Cpl.
