George and Ann Johnstone, from Annbank, recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary. Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited to congratulate them and present a floral bouquet in honour of the occasion. The couple have one son and one daughter, along with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They met in Barr and were married at the registry office in Ayr.
