A South Cariboo woman, charged in connection with a suspicious fire at a business, has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
31-year old Madyson Sheddy-Hall, originally charged with arson in relation to an inhabited property, pleaded guilty to failing to appear on a release order.
100 Mile House RCMP were called to the FreshCo store in the Cariboo Mall back on February 17th of last year.
Police say they were responding to a report of mischief inside the store where a female was accused of attempting to light a cardboard box on fire.
RCMP say an arrest was made after a suspect was identified using video surveillance in the store.
