ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Chairman board of Governors Ayub Teaching Hospital Professor Dr Abid Jameel has inaugurated a newly constructed Rapid Assessment and Reception building at the hospital’s Emergency Department to improve facilities and reduce waiting time for patients. Member BoG Usman Ali Sher, hospital executives and heads of various departments were also present on the occasion. During his visit to the Emergency Department, the Chairman BoG inspected the main triage area and reviewed medical facilities, staff performance, cleanliness and administrative arrangements. He expressed confidence that a state-of-the-art new Emergency building and a fully equipped Burn Unit would soon be available at Ayub Teaching Hospital. He directed the Hospital Director and Maintenance Department to further improve patient facilities and ensure the timely completion of ongoing construction and maintenance works.
