James Walker, of Forge Mill Lane in Wimboldsley, pleaded not guilty to one charge of sharing photograph or film of person in intimate state intending to cause alarm distress or humiliation. Chester Magistrates Court heard that, in August last year, the 23-year-old was arrested for sharing a video he and his former partner made during their relationship. It is alleged that, while the complainant consented to the production of the video, she did not consent to it being shared. Magistrates were told she had received ‘intelligence’ that others had seen the video and that they were willing to testify as so. Walker opted to have his trial heard at Chester Magistrates Court on March 23, 2027, and was given bail with one condition to not contact the complainant.
