Harford Community College baseball had a historic season in 2026 under head coach Josh Houser, as the Fighting Owls went 55-8 and made their third-ever appearance in the Division I JUCO World Series and put together a program-record 34-game winning streak. The program is no stranger to success, with prior World Series appearances in 2016 and 2022. Harford went 1-2 in the World Series, beating Seminole State College (Fla.) but losing to Midland College (Texas) and eventual champion Johnson County Community College (Kansas). Roster construction will be key as the program eyes another trip to the World Series next year. Many players from this year’s World Series team have transferred to four-year Division I schools following their time at Harford.
