A 23-year-old from Warwick is looking ahead to a career in farming after a year spent gaining hands-on experience through a Supported Internship at Stratford-upon-Avon College. Andrew Massey had been drawn to farm work and sheep since childhood, seeking out work experience long before starting the internship. His tasks included mucking out sheep, worming and vaccinating the flock, and taking part in shearing. Andrew is now set to build on the internship as he takes his first steps into a farming career.
