Edwardsburgh Cardinal is celebrating the official opening of its new accessible outdoor fitness equipment.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. at the South Edwardsburgh Community Centre in Johnstown.
The project includes new outdoor fitness equipment in Cardinal and Johnstown, and an accessible pathway connecting Albert Street to the South Edwardsburgh Community Centre in Johnstown.
A media release says the project was supported by funding from the Government of Ontario through the Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone Program.
Officials say the improvements encourage active living by creating more opportunities to stay active, enjoy the outdoors and connect with others.
