The Leamington Observer
Two Warwick district charities have each received a donation of £5,895, made possible by bereaved families who agreed to let orthopaedic implants be recycled following cremations at Oakley Wood Crematorium.
The proceeds from this recycling initiative went to Brunswick Hub and The Myton Hospices, the two causes selected by Councillor Naveen Tangri during his 2025/26 term as Chairman of Warwick District Council.
Cllr Tangri said:“I’m delighted to see that these donations have been made to two very important charities in the district.
“I chose Brunswick Hub because of its outstanding commitment to supporting residents and strengthening our community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Councillor Tangri and everyone at Oakley Wood Crematorium for their support.”
