With two weeks before the nomination deadline, there are now 12 hopefuls running for the four Timmins council seats for Ward 5.
That brings the total number of candidates in all five wards to 23.
There are six registered candidates for the mayor’s position.
They’ll be certified on the 24th and election day is October 26th.
