Italian espresso machine company La Marzocco is expanding further into the digital realm with the launch of Sistema, a subscription-based web platform for monitoring usage, performance and maintenance data across fleets of connected La Marzocco commercial espresso machines. Sistema is a web app that gathers and displays data from fleets of commercial espresso machines equipped with an internet-of-things (IoT) gateway. If its data reveals an inconsistency, users can open the La Marzocco app to adjust supported settings. “While the La Marzocco app helps you connect with both home and commercial machines, it helps you easily access settings on one machine at a time,” La Marzocco Product Marketing Manager Aric Forbing told Daily Coffee News. Following an initial rollout in Australia and New Zealand, Sistema is now available for signups worldwide, according to La Marzocco.
