GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) inspected 57 food points across the district and imposed a collective fine of Rs 211,000 on 15 outlets for hygiene and food safety violations on Tuesday. According to a PFA spokesperson, the food safety teams also issued formal improvement notices to 19 other food outlets, directing the management to upgrade hygiene standards and comply strictly with safety regulations. 62 kilograms of expired and banned food items.
