No, we don't need more parking in Ludlow... here's why

It comes after Councillor Andy Boddington, who represents Ludlow North, said Ludlow town centre does not have enough car parking.
"There is not enough car parking in the town centre to accommodate all the visitors that want to come to Ludlow," said Coun Boddington.
But Philip Adams, chairman of Ludlow 21, a sustainability charity, argues that boosting parking in town would undermine efforts to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment.
Ludlow 21 argues that using the park and ride is cheaper and puts visitors closer to the town centre.
"In Ludlow town centre it’s not a pleasant experience because there is a continuous stream of cars that do not need to be there.
