Sequoia Financial Group, an Akron, Ohio-headquartered registered investment advisor with $34.9 billion in assets under management, has acquired All Star Financial, a Minneapolis-St. Paul-based wealth management firm with about $1.36 billion in total assets under management and advisement.
All Star Financial brings 14 team members over to Sequoia, including in-house tax professionals, who will become part of Sequoia Tax Services.
"All Star Financial has built a disciplined, client-centered business with a strong foundation in tax strategy,” said Tom Haught, chairman and CEO of Sequoia Financial, in a statement.
The firm added Carlson Capital Management, another Twin Cities RIA with more than $3.8 billion in assets, in April 2025.
The firm was rebranded to All Star Financial in 1992.
