The meeting reviewed the overall performance of the Suthra Punjab Programme, ongoingsanitation operations, availability of machinery and workforce, door-to-door waste collection,cleanliness conditions in urban and rural areas, and measures being taken to address public complaints. The commissioner ordered effective monitoring of the attendance, field presence and performance of Suthra Punjab workers, directing sanitation staff and field monitoring officers to perform their duties in uniform. The meeting also discussed measures to improve sanitation standards in private housing societies. Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hasan Raza informed the meeting that steps were being taken for the prompt resolution of public complaints and improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Suthra Punjab Programme. Commissioner Kathia directed all relevant departments to ensure that all sanitation targets under the Suthra Punjab Programme were completed within the stipulated timeframe and that available resources were utilized efficiently to improve field operations.
