The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) was busy this morning (August 10) updating their Evacuation Alerts and Orders for the Fiftynine Creek (Pear Lake) wildfire.
At 8 am the Evacuation Order for Fire Area 5 issued July 31 by the CRD Emergency Operations Centre was rescinded and replaced with an Evacuation Alert.
At 8:15 am the Evacuation Alert issued July 27 for the Fiftynine Creek (Pear Lake) Fire Area 2 was partially lifted for the eastern portion with an Evacuation Alert remaining in place for the western portion of the previous alert area.
This morning at 8:30 the Cariboo Regional District EOC lifted the Evacuation Alert for Fire Area 4 that was issued back on July 30 then at 8:45 the Evacuation Alert issued on July 30 for Fire Area 3 was lifted.
