ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the pakistan stock exchange (psx) continued with a bearish trend on Tuesday, losing 1,463.60 points, a negative change of 0.81 percent, to close at 179,846.68 points against 181,310.28 points recorded in the previous trading session. The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 860.262 million shares, compared to 917.269 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs38.862 billion from Rs44.806 billion. 907 million shares, followed by K-Electric Limited with 61.849 million shares and Hascol Petroleum with 45.032 million shares. In the futures (DFC) market, turnover stood at 193.741 million shares with a traded value of Rs9.703 billion, compared with 242.364 million shares worth Rs12.361 billion in the previous session. Of the 317 companies traded in the DFC market, 70 advanced, 243 declined and four remained unchanged.
