It’s sometimes called “The Battle for COP Keating,” because a force of a little more than 50 U.S. troops was swarmed by hundreds of Taliban fighters at U.S. Army Combat Outpost (COP) Keating in the Kamdesh Valley of Afghanistan.
Being in The Battle for COP Keating was “way worse” than Knight thought it would be, even though he knew it was a possibility.
