Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) believes that the source is likely to be a fire in Llangynidr Reservoir, near Ebb Vale, which has been burning since Friday evening. HWFRS said yesterday that it had received "multiple calls" for reports of smoke believed to be linked to the "significant" fire in South Wales. The service said that the wind direction is expected to change today, which should help the smoke and associated smell to dissipate.
