Graham Worthington and Nicola Connolly were on a motorcycle on the A533 when it was in a crash on September 15, 2023. Ms Connolly, 54, of Runcorn, died of her injuries two days after the incident near the junction of Northwich Road, Runcorn Road, Tarporley Road and Warrington Road. Worthington, 56, also of Runcorn, denied both causing death by careless driving and causing death by dangerous driving at a plea and trial preparation hearing last year. On Thursday, August 6, he admitted the less serious offence during a trial at Chester Crown Court. Previously a tribute to Ms Connolly said: "Nicola was a loving member of the community and the local schools.
