Next week, my husband and I will send our youngest child “back to school” for his senior year. To me, it’s pretty amazing how much care and compassion they have for our community and all the kids. The need for affordable housing to help retain and recruit teachers has been a high priority for the district for many years. I’ve said it before: I love running into my kids’ teachers, whether at concerts, at the grocery store or on the mountain.
