The YWCA St. Joseph is hosting a ‘Hear My Voice’ event on Eighth Street to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event will include a community art contest and the presentation of the Mary Jolly Memorial Award. It is open to the public on Thursday, Oct. 1st from 6 to 7 p.m. as a way to remember victims, honor survivors, and support those affected by domestic violence.
