A YARDLEY care home has been rated Good by the care watchdog. The team at Heartlands Care and Nursing Home are ‘incredibly proud’ to receive their improved rating, which saw the service step up from Requires Improvement to Good in all key areas, following their most recent inspection from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC said it focused on the key questions Safe and Well-led where breaches of legal regulations had previously been identified. This included concerns around medicines management, the safety and maintenance of the environment, and ineffective governance systems which had failed to identify and address risks. People and their relatives were involved in care planning and kept informed of any changes in needs.”
