Boston would lose a potential source of bench scoring while watching Beal join an Eastern Conference rival attempting to build a championship contender around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo. NBA reporter Evan Sidery identified Boston and Miami as teams that recently showed interest in signing Beal for the minimum. If Beal wants guaranteed minutes or a prominent offensive role, the Celtics should not distort their rotation to accommodate him.
