Through sustained Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities, military personnel continue to build trust, address humanitarian needs and strengthen partnerships that contribute to lasting peace and stability. The medical camps brought together military healthcare professionals and local health stakeholders to offer free medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment and the distribution of essential medicines to hundreds of patients. Beyond delivering medical care, the outreach created an opportunity for meaningful interaction between the mission personnel and the local population. By complementing existing healthcare services, the medical camps helped bridge critical gaps while promoting goodwill and mutual understanding. Through consistent engagement with local communities, AUSSOM Sector II remains committed to supporting humanitarian efforts that strengthen resilience, foster trust and contribute to a secure and stable Somalia.
