Roy Dale Friedersdorf, 69, of Westport, passed away on August 8, 2026, at his home, after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. Roy also followed his father and grandfather in becoming a Pioneer seed sales representative for many years and he had involvement with Decatur County Grain Growers Association. Roy was a lifelong member of Sardinia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Sardinia Baptist Church. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Sardinia Baptist Church Youth Fund or the Decatur County Cancer Care Fund.
