Nvidia teams up with Wall St to fund $500bn in AI projects, Meta unveils Muse Glimmer

ShareNvidia has teamed up with some of Wall Street’s largest banks and investors to raise $500bn (£370bn) in capital for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
“We are bringing the world’s leading long-term capital providers together to independently underwrite AI infrastructure.”
The CEO’s essay went online the same day as Meta released a new, open-source AI model that seeks to rival Anthropic and OpenAI’s products called Muse Glimmer.
It came as Meta said its latest AI tool, called Muse Glimmer, would be released as “open source” technology, meaning it can be downloaded for free and run on a user’s own computer systems.
TelegraphCourts in England and Wales have joined a number of restaurants, theatres and pubs in banning Meta glasses, amid a mounting backlash against what has been described as “spyware”.
