SOLIHULL Council has taken a step to deliver the first phase of its AI Transformation Discovery programme. ICS.AI, a UK provider of AI transformation solutions for the public sector, has been appointed for a 24-week engagement to identify opportunities across resident-facing services and develop decision-ready use cases to inform future investment. The first phase of the programme will focus on four resident-facing service areas: Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Economy and Infrastructure and Public Health, providing the council with a structured understanding of its AI readiness. The AI company says it will provide an evidence-led approach to help the council understand where AI can deliver meaningful long-term value for Solihull residents, staff and frontline services. The programme aims to produce a prioritised shortlist of around 200 use cases, 50 finance-validated use cases and an AI Transformation Roadmap setting out future priorities.
