PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken revolutionary steps to strengthen and stabilize the energy infrastructure for the development of the industrial sector and promotion of investment in the province. The working group will formulate feasible and sustainable proposals to ensure uninterrupted power supply in industrial areas. In this regard, an important meeting of the working group and key stakeholders associated with the energy sector in the province was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Energy & Power Nisar Ahmed. Meanwhile, during the meeting, various proposals were discussed in detail to ensure the future load demand, including power infrastructure in industrial zones of the province, power demand, grid issues and the national Transmission System Expansion Plan (TSEP). He assured that the Department of Energy and Electricity and the Department of Industries and Crafts will take vigorous steps to raise their voices at high-level forums.
