The family of Joe Radvansky – a community member and advocate for education – has donated $50,000 in his remembrance. Article content“For our family, this donation is a meaningful way to honour the legacy of my uncle,” said Sally McIntyre, Radvansky’s niece. The donation was directed to the newly renovated learning space designed to expand hands-on opportunities in welding, design, fabrication, and other skilled technology programs. The Radvansky family is also funding a scholarship that will support students on their post-secondary pathways in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) focused studies. “When communities invest in public education, they invest in the future,” said JoAnna Roberto, chief executive officer for Grand Erie District School Board.
