Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirms people are pre-ordering the $100 Ultimate Edition more than the standard version ($80) pic.twitter.com/PlLimzdV9P August 10, 2026In the video above, Zelnick credits "avid consumers" for forking out the extra $20 for the more expensive edition, stating that pre-orders are "skewing more towards the premium edition". That certainly seems to be the case on the Xbox Store too, with GTA 6's Ultimate Edition sitting just behind Gears of War: E-Day's Premium offering. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will set you back £69.99 / $79.99 and includes the base game, one month of GTA+ and The Vintage Vice City Pack. If you don't, or can't cough up the £89.99 / $99.99 from the get go, GTA 6 Standard Edition owners can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition later down the line. When we asked you what version of GTA 6 you're likely to get, it looked like the majority of PXers wanted the $100 version.
