Kohima, August 11 (MExN): The “Har Ghar Tiranga” Exhibition 2026, a collaborative initiative between the Department of Art & Culture and the Home Department, began on August 10 as part of the ongoing nationwide Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration. As per the DIPR report, the inauguration event at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat was graced by Kuko Mero, IAS, Secretary Home, as the special guest. Mero highlighted that the campaign is designed to showcase the unity, strength and integrity of the nation, adding that the exhibition is a core component of the broader Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 initiative, which will be accompanied by a series of commemorative activities in the coming days. To help visitors capture the spirit of the occasion, dedicated photo booths have been installed at two key locations – Gate No. 1, Nagaland Civil Secretariat (the main exhibition venue), and the State Museum – with visitors highly encouraged to take photographs and selfies with the National Flag at these booths and upload the images directly to the official Har Ghar Tiranga portal.
