PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to install rainwater harvesting systems in all government buildings across the province to conserve rainwater and make it available for various uses. According to an official document on Tuesday, the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed all relevant government departments to ensure the installation of rainwater harvesting systems in public buildings. The relevant departments have also been provided with designs, procedures and technical specifications for installing the systems. According to the official document, estimated costs for installing the rainwater harvesting systems have also been shared with the departments concerned to ensure practical progress on the project. The departments have also been asked to submit compliance reports regarding the installation of rainwater harvesting systems.
