A 17-year-old was charged after twice fleeing from South Simcoe Police (SSP) on an e-bike. Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a youth on an e-bike causing a disturbance in the area of Holland Street West in Bradford West Gwillimbury. The teen was located on an e-bike a short distance away but fled from officers. Around 6 p.m. the same day, police were called to the same area about a youth creating a disturbance at a business. Officers spotted the youth, and when they tried to speak with the person, they say the individual repeatedly ignored police instructions and fled on the e-bike.
