Brazilian defender, Jacy Maranhao, suffered an ankle injury after falling into a tunnel while celebrating what he thought was a goal for Coritiba against Chapecoense. The 29-year-old headed the ball into the net in the 41st minute of the Brazilian top flight, with Coritiba leading 1-0. However, he disappeared into a tunnel leading to the away team’s dressing room. The Brazilian footballer eventually climbed out of the tunnel passage but appeared to have injured his ankle in the fall. Coritiba went on to win the match 2-1, but Jacy was substituted shortly after half-time because of the injury.
