Traditional Naga society placed greater emphasis on loyalty and honesty and this seems to be overshadowed by mistrust, superficiality and most of all, complacency. Our faith in Jehovah becomes a tussle caught in the crossroads of modernism and societal changes. So how does a faith that preaches community, humility, and selflessness survive in an era driven by social media status, economic competition and westernization? The crack in our societal and spiritual ties has led to further misconception and miscommunication in practicing one’s faith. The bigger question is: How do I keep my faith rooted in Christ while walking in a rapidly changing world?
