Under the programme, IT companies, BPOs, ISPs, telecom companies and IT departmentsof banks can register as partner companies, says a press release issued here on Tuesday. A total of 30,000 internship opportunities would be offered, with selected interns receivinga monthly stipend of Rs 50,000. Participating companies will also receive Rs 12,500 perintern per month as financial support. Registered companies will have access to pre-screened young talent, allowing them toselect interns according to their requirements. In his message, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated, “The programme would strengthenindustry linkages with young talent, expand opportunities for practical training and contributeto developing a skilled workforce for Punjab's growing IT sector.
