Neil Young will document his reflections on the past, present, and future on a new album, Second Song. Due out digitally September 18th, Second Song will mark Young’s second studio album with his backing band The Chrome Hearts, following 2025’s Talkin to the Trees plus the live album, As Time Explodes, released in May. “Second Song” plants the album in the tradition of Young’s mostly-acoustic projects Comes A Time (1978) and Prairie Wind (2005).
