The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, has arrested a 45-year-old suspected accomplice in a motorcycle theft syndicate and recovered a stolen motorcycle and 11 number plates. NSCDC operatives also recovered six screwdrivers, three pliers and three bunches of motorcycle keys from the suspect. According to the Command, the recovered motorcycle was allegedly stolen from a hospital in Rijiyar Zaki, Kano. The NSCDC said the suspected ringleader of the syndicate, Mansur Nasir Khalil, popularly known as “S-Guy”, remains at large. Agalama assured residents that the Command would intensify its crackdown on motorcycle theft and other related criminal activities across Kano State.
