A group of early morning boaters were surprised recently when a whale repeatedly surfaced as it cruised around the Buck's Harbor marina. Maine Boaters Surprised by a Large Whale That Swam Into and Around a MarinaGeoff Facey took an amazing video, posted on Facebook, which appears to show a quiet morning at the Buck's Harbor Marina in Brooksville. The whale surfaces very close to several boats at 2:41 seconds into the video, with its mouth wide open, no doubt grabbing at some breakfast. In fact, at 3:54 in the video, the whale surfaces right in front of a boat that was moving through the harbor. According to comments under the video, the whale had breakfast and then headed back out to sea via Eggemoggin Reach.
