Dar Briefs Canadian Counterpart on Defence PactDeputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand reviewed the regional situation and discussed the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-Türkiye defence agreement during a telephone conversation held on Sunday, according to the Foreign Office (FO). According to the FO, Dar briefed his Canadian counterpart on the objectives of the defence agreement and Pakistan’s shared commitment with its partners to promoting peace and stability in the region. Bilateral EngagementDar thanked Anand for her recent visit to Pakistan and expressed appreciation for the engagement between the two countries. The two sides agreed to maintain close contact on matters of mutual interest, according to the Foreign Office.
