A 62-year-old man was injured early today after two men approached him outside a convenience store in Waipahu and robbed him of his moped, according to the Honolulu Police Department. The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Farrington Highway, police said. The man was preparing to leave the store on his moped when he was approached by two men. One suspect demanded the moped and struck the man with a weapon after he fell while trying to flee, police said. The second suspect took the victim’s yellow moped and fled westbound on Farrington Highway.
