Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR) has announced the appointment of Kampeta Pitchette Sayinzoga as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), bringing on board an experienced leader with an extensive background in Rwanda’s financial and industrial development sectors. Sayinzoga most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD), a position she held from 2019 to 2025. Before joining BRD, Sayinzoga was the Director General of the National Industrial Research and Development Agency (NIRDA), where she served from 2017. Her appointment to AFR marks a new chapter for the organization, which works to expand access to inclusive financial services and promote financial sector development in Rwanda. AFR expressed confidence that Sayinzoga’s expertise and leadership will help drive the organization’s mission of building a more inclusive and resilient financial ecosystem in Rwanda.
