A Thomaston woman has received her sentence for assault after driving rapidly toward a U.S. Border Patrol agent in 2025. She had pleaded guilty to assault in March 2026 for driving her vehicle rapidly toward a Border Patrol Agent. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office District of Maine, Ms. Wilkins voiced concerns about why a Border Patrol agent was at the site. But when a Border Patrol agent walked an individual to a cruiser, Wilkins accelerated toward the agent, who pulled the suspect off the road, away from the path of the vehicle.
