"The MoU renewal is expected to be more than just an administrative adjustment due to institutional changes. It should provide momentum to broaden the scope of our cooperation to meet the current protection needs of Indonesian migrant workers," Aryani said.One key initiative under the current partnership is the "Golden Migrant Village" program, which focuses on empowering former migrant workers and their families.Both parties plan to sustain and expand this collaboration in the future. "Empowerment is a vital component of the migrant worker protection ecosystem," the deputy minister said. "Protection is not only provided while migrant workers are abroad.
