The Heartland Community College Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Alumnus award. The award recognizes notable Heartland alumni who demonstrate exceptional achievement in their profession and make a positive impact on their community. Last year’s award winner was Jeremiah Fletcher, Vice President of Infrastructure and Chief Technology Officer at COUNTRY Financial. Fletcher earned his associate degree at Heartland and is currently active with the HCC Corporate Alumni Council at COUNTRY Financial/Illinois Farm Bureau. He also serves as a mentor in Heartland’s COUNTRY Scholars program.
