I contacted U.S. Rep. Ed Case to complain about Donald Trump’s proposed 250-foot arch at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery. I believe Trump’s proposed monstrous arch is so offensive, misplaced and dominating in appearance that it tarnishes the image of our nation’s hallowed grounds for those who served America. The arch will utterly destroy the solemn vision tying Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument as envisioned by our predecessors.
